Why we built it.

Running a yard means weight tickets, grades, contracts, containers, customs codes and an auditor at the end of the year. The software we could buy was either a spreadsheet with a logo or an ERP built for a factory that someone had bent into shape.

Every number was typed more than once, and every exception was a custom development.

So we built the system we wanted to use: one record from the weighbridge to the closed month, every module included, and an AI operator that takes the typing off the team. MEGAN has shipped continuously since the first release, with release notes in the app.
